Spooky Season is Finally Here

It’s the most *spookiest* time of the yearrrrr!

Spooky season is finally here! And we are here for it.

Okay, guys.
It’s no surprise that around the Johnston home, we love all things Autumn and Halloween. I mean, who doesn’t love cool, crisp air, pumpkin spice and apple pie, or candy and spooky hay rides?! If you have been following us for a while now, then you know that Cody and I LOVE making our own Halloween costumes and out doing ourselves every year with the holiday decorations. Which honestly, is only the start of our festivities. I mean, we love Halloween but Christmas? That’s a whole other level!

This is why we wanted to talk with you guys about our favorite things this month. We’ve been hitting it pretty heavy with a lot of deconstruction topics lately with our conversations from Karl Forehand and Thomas Jay Oord. These conversations are absolutely worth having and needed. But we want to take a break and have some fun. Don’t worry, we will still be having in-depth conversation and we have a lot of deep conversations down the pipeline. But with it being such a fun month of spooky celebrations, we decided to soften the blow a little bit.

Over the course of the next few weeks, we will be addressing all kinds of topics around the idea of Halloween. Of course, we will be talking about what it’s like to celebrate Halloween as a Christian, similar to the conversation we had last year. As well as other interesting topics around demons, witchcraft, and spirits! And who knows? We may answer some of your burning questions around Halloween and the significance of Autumn.

So we want to know:

What are some topics you would like to hear?
We’d love to hear from you!

Guys, spooky season is here and it is here to stay!
