How Do You Reconstruct?
What’s the difference between deconstruction and reconstruction? What does it look like to rebuild from the ground up? How do we give ourselves room to grow? How do we hold space to evaluate ourselves? For others? How where should we end up after asking our questions?
This week, we’re sharing a question submitted through our NOMADS community about reconstruction. Many of us are familiar with the idea of deconstruction and questioning our beliefs. But many of us are unsure of what to do with those questions. The beautiful thing is that de/re construction is a cyclical process, meaning that we’re constantly growing and changing our beliefs based on experiences and communing with others. In order to reconstruct, we must be open to new possibilities and allow ourselves to not have all the answers.
We’re curious though, how do you reconstruct? Have you recently reconstructed your faith? We’d love to hear from you! Leave us a comment in our NOMADS community or reach out via social media. As always, our DM’s are always open!
