154 – Grace and Excellence: Two Terms That Don’t Mean What They Used To

Jesus was full of grace but in our terms, He wasn’t graceful. He was excellent but in the way we use it, He wasn’t full of excellence at all.

Church culture loves the term excellent. Society loves the term graceful. Both of these terms carry a load of importance but neither of them are used the way they should be. What does it mean to be full of grace? Is it simply how we carry ourselves? How does one achieve excellence? Is it our mannerisms and how we dress?

This week we are talking about grace and excellence. We discuss how both of these terms are vital, yet have been taken to mean something much vainer than their intended purpose.
